A Typical Week
What can you expect during a week at Camp?
Families arrive at camp any time after 2:00 on Sunday afternoons. After dinner, a brief “meeting” will follow dinner. Some ice breaker games will be played and staff will share our camp and beach rules.
Each day we begin with a craft or game, followed by swim time at our beautiful beach front. After lunch we go for a hike, play capture the flag or another game to get ready for another swim! Our evening begins with a Liturgy or Mass in our open air chapel, a brief adult discussion and a family focused evening activity. Campfires, Games and more!
Our staff will take your children on wonderful adventures in the woods, play lots of games and give them a wonderful week of memories, while you have the opportunity to meet other parents and families and share your ideas, thoughts and successes as a family and a parent.
Beach Day
Each week we spend most of one day basking on the beach! We pool resources and have a potluck BBQ at the beach with activities and lots of swimming, canoeing, frog-spotting, and adventure.
Skit/Talent Night
On Thursday or Friday evening, our evening activity is a talent night. Share your talent or a favourite skit! This is a fun way to wind down at the end of an adventure-filled week!
“Must Go” Meal
This is a fancy way to say this is leftover night! We clean out our fridges on Friday night and have an awesome potluck dinner….everything MUST GO!!!
Environmental Initiatives (coming soon)
Tuck Shop
Twice a week, the counsellors open up our small Tuck Shop where kids have to opportunity to spend a few dollars on candy. We also have t-shirts and other Camp “merch” available for pre-order during registration and some available in the tuck shop.
Tea Towels (or lack thereof)
We will no longer be supplying tea towels at camp. Please bring your own and take them home with you at the end of your week.
Before you leave
We ask all families to take a few minutes to sweep their cabin, mop the floor, take out their garbage, and open up all the windows.
Families are also reminded to clean out their fridges and cabinets and wipe all surfaces in their kitchen area.
